Academic Leave
The student may suspend their registration for exceptional reasons such as:
- Disabling chronic illness;
- Maternity;
- Long-term illness;
- National Service;
- Family obligations (relating to ascendants and/or descendants, travel of spouse or parents related to the function, etc.);
An academic leave certificate must be issued to him by the competent authority of his institution.
The reasoned request for academic leave must be submitted to the teaching services of the affiliated structure, except in cases of force majeure, before the first exams.
Academic leave can only be granted once during the university course.
Following an academic leave for medical reasons, reintegration is conditional upon the opinion of a medical expert appointed by the higher education institution.
